Some of these have been cured and others are in control now.
Till date I have lost 22 Kgs of weight and the count is still on. The best part has been that she never restricts you from eating what you want to. It is her skill or art that she will create such a good mix of all that you want to eat and supposed to eat, that you will never feel bored as if you are following a restrictive diet plan.
Just because of brevity I have, to sum up, otherwise, I can go on writing pages on my experience journey with ma’am. In the end, just want to say nobody in the world has a magic wand that he/ she will turn around you in days, it is the right guidance and 100 % dedication, continuous efforts & belief in each other that makes you achieve the results, trust me, surrender and follow her instructions and you will gradually start experiencing the change, you will become more confident and lively person than ever.

I see Anupama as a Nutritionist who channelizes your eating habits into a culture of healthy eating. She has inspired me to feed my precious body with only precious fuel i.e. the nutritious food. She does not collude with the thinking of general public that we have to starve or crash diet to tone up our body or to lose weight; she is the view that eating right thing at a right time and in a right. Quantities can work wonders in our body.

I am not just a foodie and also someone who loves junk. With age, I have also developed, a love for anything sweet, especially the Indian variety which i generally avoided till a few years back. So from rasagulla to caramel custard, from chole bhature/samosa to a grilled chicken – I love it all. To top it, I have been in sedentary work environment throughout my entire career. Most importantly, I have been an overweight child to an overweight teenager and then an overweight adult. The last time I lost weight, it was due to hard core workout. So, I was quick to get most of weight back because I stopped my routine workout drill and I had anyways never stopped eating.
My life chapter with Anupama started when I found myself looking visibly obese in all photographs and got a reference through a friend who had looked amazing after being under Anupama’s supervision. I was actively under her supervision for 6-7 months and lost almost 10 kg. It’s been over 15 months since I have been on my own and I have pretty much managed to sustain my weight at around 53-54 kg. If there is any negligible weight change today, I manage shed it in no time because I have completely transformed my lifestyle. What I particularly liked about Anupama was that she was more of a counsellor and friend and not just a detached professional for whom I was another client. She handheld me through my weeks of frustration when I did not lose even 200g and encouraged me every-time I lost a few kg and supported me during a severe bout of cervical spondylitis when I could not hit the gym for weeks together.
I learned the importance of a balanced diet, developed a habit of consuming fruits and nuts, and most importantly, learned how to change my lifestyle around the way I approached food at home or outside. Does mean that I live the most boring regimented food life today? No, i have only learned to be more responsible in the way I eat. One day of junk has to balanced out the next day and there is no excuse for doing it wrong. I have also developed a habit of consuming a lot of water, something I never did till 2 years back.
Today, I am not just the thinnest I have ever been, but also lost years of age. That’s enough motivation to never give up on the key lessons that i leaned from Anupama for a healthier and fitter life.
